Dental implants function just like natural teeth. They act as a substitute tooth root to support permanent or removable replacement teeth, where natural teeth are absent. Made from titanium, dental implants are placed into the jawbone so the existing bone will grow around it, creating a strong and long-lasting foundation.

Implant treatment can be used to support crowns, bridges, and dentures, or can fully replace missing teeth. Patients may require just one dental implant, or up to a whole arch of missing teeth.
